Thanks for the quick lesson in hex to binary. Attempted to unlock the US CN V8 for a 2610 on Mapsource, it won't allow me to unlock it for the GPS device. The codes WILL only allow it to unlock the maps within Mapsource only. Has anyone gotten it to unlock for their GPS device? Salve, avrei piacere installare il garmin sul mio ppc con windows mobile 6.1 a bordo. La trek map italia e' un po' meglio ma i sentieri segnati in realta' sono almeno cinque volte tanti. Il CAI di Bergamo ha fatto il lavoro per tutta l'Italia ed io che sono proprio di Bergamo, ho almeno un centinaio di sentieri da fargli aggiungere in zona. Immagino cosa possano aver fatto nel resto d'Italia.

When the trick with GMTK doesn't work, it's another strong indication that this is the case.I will re-check my admin privileges when I get home, hopefully that is the solution. It's seems to me that the Garmin online service isn't communicating with base camp correctly. Failing the admin privileges check, I will run the javawa GMTK. Express does have an install to PC option Although many of us find easier to use, never failed me so unsure why it's not working for you.Just checked the laptop that has it and I think Garmin Express has changed.
