I burned the ISO using both Verbatim and Memorex DVD+R DL using a Mac and also using a Dell laptop with the Windows OEM disc burning software as well as imgburn and isoburn. Both the Mac and the Dell's lowest burning speed is 2.4x which I manually set in all cases. I've tried multiple combinations: Car off, key in and key out, door open and door closed Car on Reboot ( *) when necessary. Sometimes I've gotten the CD/DVD disc error message and the OK button. In other cases I get the 'please insert navigation DVD' voice prompt.

DVD/CD seems to be working. It reads and plays DVD movies and CDs. HDD seems to be OK. I've copied and deleted MP3s. Using the secret menu, with the DVD out NAV version is blank With the DVD in the player while it's reading from the disc, the version reads as 8050 I'm all out of ideas and have scoured the forums looking for insights. It recognizes the SWL disk, starts to look at image, then drops to the error screen. Error 010306 It will not drop back to it original load screen/version any more either. So, it turn on, then off, then on, then off endlessly. No more radio, no nav, no serius radio, no back up camera.

Did you do what the screen said to do? It tells you to push buttons because you have reached your limit of attempts. I think that is what it says. 010306 I think is the code 010303 - I believe is mismatched firmware or too high a revision for the hardware and returns to current install. 010306 - I believe is 3 attempt limit and must hard boot radio to clear attempts and start again. Each RNS 510 has a max firmware that will work with the unit based on the final letter of the serial number. I'm not sure if it is region specific.
